Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Washington

Hotel Restaurant Campanile Washington - Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Emerson Road, Washington NE37 1LE, UK – 0191 416 5010

Good place to stay staff lovely food good and bed's comfortable. Husband wanted to take shower home. Breakfast all cooked fresh and evening meals good. Would stay again

Can only comment on the looks and the brilliantly friendly and very helpful staff as I was only a visitor. This hotel looked far superior to the other hotels in the vicinity. Looked clean and well kept. The manager was most accommodating to all our needs and the staff were always ready to help.

Kylin Oriental

Brandy Ln, Washington NE37 1BH, UK – 0191 417 4822

Absolutely amazing! I went here earlier today for my brother's 18th birthday and I couldn't be happier. The food was beautiful, and considering there were five of us it was really quick too. The staff was really friendly and lovely, and even brought him cheesecake with a candle in. A wonderful night in a wonderful place. Thank you very much! (They did mistake Reece's name for Grease, but it lead to a good joke)

Ristorante Fiume

16 Bonemill Ln, Washington NE38 8AJ, UK – 0191 415 0007

My favourite restaurant for so many years. Tonight's visit was as good as always. Lovely 2 course meal for a reasonable price. Lots of choice. Great service without being intrusive.

Been here a few times and I have got the same experience every time the atmosphere is a bit on the noisy side. The service is not always the quickest the food is OK but nothing to get excited about my wife had the tirimasu which was not as nice as normal it had no taste ofcoffee so was a bit of a disappointment. I had coffee which was a bit on the weak side they must of counted how many coffee granules they thought should go into the cup. In all its not in my top 10 of places to go for a meal. Would I recommend this place? Well No I would not
